1. Overview
Bioqore is committed to security and compliance so that you can run Voyager with confidence in regulated and sensitive environments. This page summarizes our approach to data handling, infrastructure, and regulatory alignment. For detailed technical or contractual terms, please contact us or refer to your agreement with Bioqore.
2. Data Handling Policy
Your bioprocess data, parameters, and results remain under your control. Voyager is designed to run in your environment—your cloud account or on-premises infrastructure—so that your data does not leave your walls. We do not access, store, or process your bioprocess data on Bioqore servers unless you explicitly request or authorize it (e.g., for a specific support or analysis task). The only information that may leave your environment in normal operation is minimal system-status signaling where applicable (e.g., to confirm service health), as described in your agreement. You retain ownership of your data at all times.
3. Where Your Data Lives
Voyager can be deployed in your own cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or in your on-premises infrastructure. We provide deployment guidance and support so that data residency and sovereignty requirements are met. We do not host or store your bioprocess data on our own servers as part of standard operation. Encryption in transit and at rest is used in accordance with our security standards and your configuration.
4. Compliance Frameworks
We design Voyager with regulatory and quality requirements in mind, including those relevant to biopharma and life sciences: FDA/GMP considerations, 21 CFR Part 11 (electronic records and signatures), and alignment with data integrity principles (ALCOA+). Voyager can support audit trails, access controls, and documentation practices that help you demonstrate compliance. Specific validation and compliance obligations depend on your use case and jurisdiction; we work with customers to support validation strategies and documentation as needed.
5. Audit Procedures and Documentation
We maintain internal security and quality processes and can provide documentation (e.g., security overview, data handling summary) under confidentiality where appropriate. For customers in regulated environments, we can discuss audit support, change control documentation, and how Voyager's design supports your audit trail and documentation requirements. Contact us to request relevant materials or to discuss your compliance needs.
6. Infrastructure Options
Voyager can be run in a variety of deployment models: fully in your cloud or on-premises, or in a hybrid arrangement depending on your requirements. We do not require you to send your data to Bioqore for processing. Backup, disaster recovery, and availability are configured according to your environment and our deployment guidance. For specific infrastructure or integration requirements, contact our team to discuss options.
